Hedge

J has wanted a hedge to line the front path for a while now. We bought some plants ages ago but due to the weather were unable to plant them. They are finally in!

Frosty Mango

We headed north to seek out a local plant wholesale place and on the way home we finally checked out Frosty Mango. Frosty Mango is a cafe half way between Ingham and Townsville....you only really go here for the ice cream.



We enjoyed mint choc chip, cappuccino, macadamia and mango...YUM!!



The plants we got include Fox Tail Palms, Christmas Palms, Song of India and a Cycad:

The little miss was so excited to be going for a 'walk'. We headed off to the strand early this morning for a stroll.




We sipped coffee and took in the view to Magnetic Island.



Then met one of Star's cousins. I have this seen this corgi a few times and I had my camera today so I had to take a snap!

The grass kept growing and growing and the rain kept on poring down. J mowed on Friday afternoon on the highest setting and even that was a struggle....

I am over the rain. The poor animals are going a bit stir crazy. Aka did go for a good run this morning as we tested out our new wet weather gear.

Puff pastry heaven....

I made these babies yesterday, they are filled with a bolognase sauce, mince and grated carrot. Cute little ones for moi and a supersized one for J....YUM!!

An Australia Day Feast for 2!

We had a chilled Australia Day....relaxing and eating...mmm...

Pari and Starzy...the pair of them secretly hoping that if they hang around on patrol surely something tasty will come their way!
