Introducing Daisy Do Jet

The one and only Daisy Do Jet.  We have no idea how Addison came up with this name but its so her and so him.  Now if only we had $1 for every time he was called a girl!!!

Daisy is one tiny ball of anxiety but it seems that its just the mini foxie temperament.  Addison loves him to bits and often calls him her little brother. 

 

Introducing Cleo

Cleo is literally the most frustrating cat ever!!  Don't let her pretty looks fool you.  She only has eyes for one Aidan Martin and no doubt there will be a post featuring the pair of them together soon.  I am good enough for her when I have human tuna, but any other time, nope!

We got Cleo in May 2017...funny story...we thought Narla was gone for good so bit the bullet and got another cat.  That night, Narla came home....typical cat!!!

Introducing Narla

So the side photos on the right clearly need updating but given the fact that those pets have passed on and I never wrote about that I am going to leave them there as a tribute because of how much we love our fur babies and our new pets will get this own post.  

Do I update the human photos or not? 

Narla is our oldest of our current beasts and has your typical cat personality.  She is 5 and lives in the world of Narla.  These days we only see her about once a week which is a shame.  We think she has found a new house and probably enjoys a quieter life with no other animals or children.

Summer Hair Cuts + Yum Yum!

Its been a while since Aka has had a winter coat and now that it heating up...

Time for a buzz cut!

And Aidan was well over due for a hair cut also.

Pari Proof

Pari snuck in the laundry door as I was bringing the clothes in only to be faced with this:

It took him about 5 attempts of trying to squeeze through to realise that it wasn't going to work and that the only way was to go over.

Water and Sand

Since the weather has started to warm up I have wanted to get out of the house and have some water play with Aidan.
However with the weeks of sickness we had to put it off until now.

It was such a beautiful day today so we headed outside for some fun!

Later in the afternoon we went to the beach.

This was Aidan's first time on the sand.

Ready to assemble

Its been a crazy few weeks with pharyngitis and bronchitis.

48 - New bed covers

The dogs love their beds but they are due for new covers.

To an extent they like sleeping on the old ones in the 'hole' but it is time to replace them.

Aka will wear out both beds but Starzy would rather sleep on a wooden chair then go on his bed.

36 - Valentines and Birthdays!

Valentines Day is when we celebrate Aka and Pari's Birthdays. We don't know their exact date of births but Pari was a Valentines present and we got Aka in April so counting back the weeks he would have been born in February. Aka is 6 and Pari is 5 - I can't talk about it! It doesn't feel like we have had them that long. J says that Pari will be our only cat but we think out of spite he will live forever!

J comes home tonight so I made him some brownies. The recipe is from our friend Josie. They aren't as good as yours Josie but I have to start somewhere!

I was running out of time and energy to take a photo today so I headed outside to spend some time with the animals....normally any photos of them turn out pretty bad, they HATE the camera. Today they were good sports...awwwww.




He is a cranky looking cat sometimes!

The Little Miss is sad that J is away. She has become attached to him lately which is odd, she is the naughty child and is shit scared when he uses his naughty voice with her....I think she is trying to make up for the last 10 years....I call her J's girlfriend, pity her being stuck here with the pregnant wife and no J to rescue her... :)

He loves the hose, I got some really good close up photos of him but I really like these action ones....now I have to deal with the wet dog smell....dirty!!
